WAR (LLONA)
WAR isn’t just fought with weapons—it’s fought in the mind, the heart, and the environment we navigate every day: Personal Struggles – Fighting against self-doubt, depression, or trauma. Social Battles – Dealing with peer pressure, bullying, or societal expectations. Family Conflicts – Struggles within the household, whether from abuse, neglect, or financial struggles. Street & Community Wars – Exposure to violence, crime, or unsafe environments. Systemic Fights – Facing injustice, lack of opportunity, or the challenge of breaking out of negative cycles. For many youth in these environments “war” isn’t just about the physical battle but also about the fight to escape, survive, and break the cycle of violence and hardship.

To be free is to be invisible But we never truly disappear, we camouflage. This collection explores the concept of freedom through the lens of camouflage. Which has been a controversial design for clothing by virtue of the military. It seeks to blur the lines between visibility and invisibility. With the use of muted tones and abstract patterns, which symbolizes the adaptive natures of the design and unexpected hand sketched cuts and bold embroidery stitches which symbolizes the power to be free from conformity. Channeling this we push against all that seek to take away our rights and freedom of life, of thoughts and greatly of expression.
